MCC Women Knock Off Delgado

The Meridian Community College women ran thier record to 6-3 on the season with a 73-52 win at Delgado (LA) Community College Wednesday night.

Meridian will host Coahoma Community College Saturday at 4 p.m. at MCC's Graham Gymnasium.

In Wednesday's victory, MCC roared to a 43-23 lead at halftime and got 14 pts. from freshman Jennifer Wair.

Zirconia Hopkins, another freshman forward, tailied nine points and evry player for MCC score.
