Renforw Inks Scholarship With MCC Baseball

The Meridian Community College baseball team held one of the more unique signing ceremonies in the history of its program on Friday afternoon. Brandon Renfrow signed a scholarship on Friday afternoon with Meridian Community College baseball to continue his career with the Eagles. Renfrow is a product of the Meridian Christian Home Educators and has played at the high school level with the Meridian Flyers.

Renfrow has also played locally with the Meridian Golden Spikes on various levels and other travel ball organizations. Renfrow, a left-handed pitcher, will look to help the pitching staff in a big way when he comes to MCC in 2017. The MCC baseball squad is currently ranked 20^th in the nation according to several preseason publications heading into the 2016 season and will officially start the season on February 6 when it hosts Bishop State at Scaggs Field.
