MCC Soccer player headed to next level

(MERIDIAN) - Meridian Community College soccer player, Valentino Fogo, has signed a national letter of intent with the University of South Carolina-Aiken.

Fogo, a native from Kingston, Jamacia was two year starter at striker for the Eagles. Over his two year career at MCC, Fogo compiled 22 goals and 14 assists. He was named to the 2010 All Region 23 team in his sophomore year and helped the Eagles to a NJCAA Region 23 Runner up finish in 2009.

USC-Aiken is a NCAA Division II program and they compete in the Peach Belt Conference.
