MCC Eagles Take Two From Hiwassee College

Meridian Community College’s soccer teams swept a pair of matches Saturday from Hiwassee (Tenn.) College in junior-college action in Tuscaloosa, Al.
MCC’s teams, which both dropped matches on Friday, now have identical records of 2-1 on the young season. The eagles and Lady eagles will go to Northwest Mississippi today for their next action.
The Lady eagles won Saturday’s women’s match by a score of 6-0 over Hiwassee., which is located in Madisonville, Tenn.
Terra Moore had a hat trick with three goals, while Morgan Gullette scored twice and McKenzie Butler had one goal for coach Alex George.
In the men’s game, it was Terry Silva with a trio of goals to lead MCC to a 7-0 victory.
Ryan Zelenka added a pair of goals, Jason Miller scored once and Joey Robbins had a goal on penalty kick.
